Baltimore, MD - On Saturday September 22, 2007, the Baltimore District of the Brothers of the Christian schools gathered at Calvert Hall College High School for the General Assembly of the District (GAD). Some select photographs will tell the story of the 2007 GAD.
(With broad smiles and a receptive audience, three of the Delegates to the 44th General Chapter (Rome) gave a panel reception to the assembly. From left to right, Brothers Miguel Campos, Dennis Malloy and Michael Sanderl shared their experiences and insights: Brother Michael (San Francisco District) was one of the twelve young Brothers who were invited to the Chapter.)
(The newest member of the Baltimore District is Brother Michael Miller, a 1998 graduate of Calvert Hall. Brother Michael carried the Book of the Gospels during the opening procession before the special Mass at the General Assembly on the Baltimore District.)
(For young Brothers to have a sponsor (mentor) at the reception of the Religious habit is a lengthy tradition in the Institute. Standing from left to right are Brothers Michael Miller, Timothy Froehlich, Anwar Martinez, Joseph Burke and Robert Peach. Brother Timothy is the sponsor of Brother Anwar and Brother Joseph sponsors Brother Robert.)

(Receiving recognition and applause from the congregation were (left to right) Brothers Robert Peach, Don Alger, Michael Kramer, Anwar Martinez and Michael Miller. Two hundred and seventy-five people attended this well-prepared musically rich liturgy.)
(The sizeable Alger family beems with joy with their Brother Don, who was born in the Phillipines. Brother Don currently serves on the Faculty at Calvert Hall College High School.)
